Agricultural Innovation and Trade in the Age of Climate Disruption

This panel discussion, hosted by TAWA and facilitated by Marianna Grossman, was held at the Portland Japanese Garden on July 19, 2022. The event focused on the important wheat trade between Oregon and Japan, the impact of climate change and the opportunities for clean-tech innovations. Marianna provided an overview of the impact of climate change. The two speakers, Ron Pernick, CEO of Clean Edge, and Darren Padget, an Oregon wheat farmer and Former Chair, of U.S. Wheat Associates, added their understandings.
